Message: <blockquote data-quote="Shady TigEER" data-source="post: 129403803" data-attributes="member: 1819662">You're not getting the point - the point is with lower attendance there is less income/revenue.  That's "free money" the university would otherwise have.  I'm not even taking into account the money the community loses by simply having people in Morgantown (eateries, hotels, etc.)...WVU cares about those establishments too.  So I may be dramatizing it a bit...just making a point...and it's a point that is considered by higher ups; you can count on that.  And by the way, the game is not a sell out last I checked so that's 50-60 bucks per ticket.  Do the math yourself and you'll see that it adds up quickly when you figure in beer and concession sales, apparel sales, etc.</blockquote>
