9 point lead with multiple chances to stretch it to double digits and every time we failed.

Refs control the game. If the refs don't call it tight for A&M, Rutgers wins by 8 or 9 point. Sometimes it's hard to win 5 on 8. Bottom line, A&M doesn't shoot well from anywhere in the court except from the FT line. They drive hard into the defender and force the refs to call something and most times it's a foul on the defense.

Including today’s game, both our free throw attempt:field goal attempt ratio and the proportion of our points allowed at the FT line is below the national average. Not sure it’s something that’s been a super persistent problem
