It seems a few people here didn't get that. You would have thought maybe we had lost. Keep on rooting for us to lose guys. But we should have lost!
What’s the Nebraska way? A loss?We might have won, but we didn’t win it the ‘Nebraska way’
I view it as a positive that we won going away, instead of losing composure after going down in the second half with nothing happening on offense. Any of Frost’s teams would have caved. We’ve had a knack for losing games like this, and like the Cincinnati game. Maybe we are starting to learn how to win.
You forgot to mention that we are .500 in conference wins!!! Thats B1G considering the Huskers haven’t finished a season winning half their conference games for nearly 10 years. Progress! It seems a few people here didn't get that. You would have thought maybe we had lost. Keep on rooting for us to lose guys. But we should have lost!![]()
.500? We've played two conference games and lost to a ranked team by 3 that should have beat us. That .500 doesn't mean two much when taken in context.
Next step is beating a good Maryland team on the road. Then the Minnesota nemesis.I mean a win like that is good for the team. We keep saying they don't know how to win. Now perhaps they can start becoming winners.
Why is pee jay so punchable?Next step is beating a good Maryland team on the road. Then the Minnesota nemesis.
There is no good reason why Nebraska should not win most of their games they play against Minnesota and Iowa for that matter. Nebraska has better talent and more resources than either of those two schools.Next step is beating a good Maryland team on the road. Then the Minnesota nemesis.
That is true, yet we haven't beaten MINN since 2018 and we are what? 2-8 or 2-9 against IA in the last decade? There is no good reason why Nebraska should not win most of their games they play against Minnesota and Iowa for that matter. Rhule will shut up a lot of people(myself included) if he can beat Minny and Iowa. That is true, yet we haven't beaten MINN since 2018 and we are what? 2-8 or 2-9 against IA in the last decade?
Those are two things that HAVE to change for this program to try to get to the next level in this league.

Should have? Are you sure about that? Sure, we had a chance and made a decent shot at it.You mean “that we should’ve beat.”
They're more talented so I've been told. We could have, but we didn't. They were ranked, and we weren't for a reason. Now if your were talking about a team like the Nebrask of the 90's, I'd agree. This team, not that close yet, but making progress.Should have beat us?
Michigan was on the road, with a true freshman QB, with great value Mark Mangino cosplaying as HC while their actual HC (with two years experience mind you) sat at home.
That should’ve been a win.

Makes sense, if you’re a total simpleton.
For those that remember we were 5-1 exactly a year ago, we recognize that the W’s historically don’t come easy in late October/November when we hit the actual meat of the schedule.
Northwestern is the only game I’d feel comfortable betting the house on.
If it were all about talent we wouldn't be having this conversation. It takes more than just talent...
Holla
Always moving the goal posts. I thought it was all about winning. We're 4-1. Now it's about who developed pro players. Well I want you to keep track. Start making a list after this season and the next. Make sure you start a thread on it about how many Huskers end up drafted.those programs have produced a ton more pros than ours
even if it was just about talent we’d probably be right here in this same spot given our pathetic track record of placing dudes on all-conference teams and sending guys to the next level

Okay, I'm gonna assign you 10 points for that reference. Could also have cited the wizard of NC State, Andy Reid or Coach "Jump in my belly" Bielema.Should have beat us?

I agree, Since TO retired the Huskers downfall has been more about a chancellor, ADs and most importantly coaches than the kids playing the game.If it were all about talent we wouldn't be having this conversation. It takes more than just talent...
