That was a solid win if for no other reason it was kind of a “must win” game for both teams. Both teams coming off tough losses to good teams and 0-1 in B1G standings. Needed a win to set the tone for the rest of the season.
Next week now shapes up as a huge game for us. Our first true road game of the year. Maryland is a surprisingly good team. But they are beatable. We need another solid game from the defense and special teams. I expect our offense to be off and on.
If we beat Maryland I like our chances of being 7-1 before the USC game.

Whereas SantaBarbaraSker, aka "King Kong Lite" resorts to 6th grade insults and thinks he's in the same league. How insecure do you have to be to beg people to ban a guy from an opinion forum? When you're being called mutton-head and told not to reproduce, wow, that really stings right? If he's gonna try to elevate to Kong's level, he needs to up his game multiple levels. If King Kong and King Kong Lite ever hook up in a one-on-one putdown thread, Lite would tap out in round 1.
You know you're the main target like Kong when he is simultaneously hated and given credit at the same time. In all honesty, in 4 years on this board I've had Kong on and off Ignore 4 different times.
Their M.O's are exactly the same in that as soon as anyone gives them a strong dissention, they attack personally. Kong uses descriptive, colorful and really nasty words whereas Kong Lite pulls out more of his 6th grade artillery.
You did say it would be a close game and that they were decent. This is true
