Watauga will put up as many points as they want on Ashbrook because it's gonna be like playing against a team of icicles.

I'd love to see Watauga play Weddington, that would be a great match up based on what I hear about Watauga this year.

my 2.5 cents on watauga... Offense ran alot of misdirection, the qb was by far the most talented kid on the field. The defense however was stellar the night i saw them. imo, a running team will do better, i saw the freedom game, their line was able to open some holes, just didnt have anyone capable of running through them. They are not overly fast but dont really need to be when you are not out of position, and i dont think you will see a kid out there friday night out of position. Very well coached and sure bought into the team atmosphere, not a 1 man show up there for sure!! Better wear everything you got in the closet cause that is the coldest place ever, hell its even cold in august on that field.

Habich is an amazing coach. Watauga is blessed to have him. He definitely holds the kids accountable and they are very fundamentally sound under him.

I'm definitely making the journey home tomorrow night. Btw they're calling for snow and it's already iced over there today :)

Watauga up 14 0 2 minutes to go first quarter. Ashbrook has negative yards thus far.

If any team comes to Boone and beats Watauga in weather like this, they truly deserve it. Ask any team that's played in Boone this time a year.

They knocked Erwin out of the playoffs twice in the last few years so we know all about them. I was really hoping we would get them at home this year for a little pay back but at least Reynolds did the job
