Rebuilding a football team takes time, especially at Nebraska.

I figured going into this that it was going to be an 8 year rebuild. With Covid whatnot now I'm thinking more like 10. In my opinion I haven't seen half of what I need to see to make an informed opinion. This season doesn't mean much imo, neither does next season imo. Year 8 and especially years 9 and 10 will be the key.

Let's revisit this issue in 2025.

I still think it's funny (and sad) that the worst coach in the history of the school has been given more patience than any other coach. Any other coach puts up his record and they're gone after year 3 minimum, potentially after year 2.

Depending on how many games TA let’s him coach, the worst Coach in Nebraska history is still Bill Jennings with winning pct of .310 from 1957-1961..
