Any preseason rankings are hard to understand, but this tells just how much expectation and respect there is for UL and this incoming class!
CBS ranks Cards #4 next season. The Athletic also ranks Cards #4 next season. Lotta respect for Kelsey and his approach.
6th highest odds to win the 'ship next year on Draftkings. Its all clickbait, but its nice to at least be in the convo again!!
All of these way to early polls are just for fun. To keep interest after the season ends. It's not really meant to be taken seriously. Not until October at least.
Yeah, I’d like to at least see final rosters before I start ranking teams. I expect most of the top teams will add something in the coming weeks.

One thing that struck me was that Duke, UNC and the Cards were the only ACC teams mentioned in the Top 25 for both CBS and ESPN too early polls. IMO the ACC needs to step it up big time in the pre-conference schedule.
Many times it starts with the right coach.
Hopefully Will Wade will have NC State cooking shortly like Kelsey has at UofL. Some of the other recent ACC hires I'm not so sure of right now.
I am surprised UNC was ranked they have some issues they need to take care of.
