Yes & Draughn won 56 to 21. Mitchell's only conference loss. Finished 7-3
56 -21 Draughn pulled starter with 11 late in the 4th........look for a better Mitchell but Draughn got to many weapons.....I see it......34-21

If u watch fight on nfhs it looked more like the other teams doing to me...don't know why tja forfeited
I haven’t seen video of the fight, but that lines up with what I was told. I also heard that the coach didn’t feel like his players were safe to stay and finish the game.
Also, 1 or 2 TJ players missed the game due to being sick and I think 3-4 players got kicked out b/c of the fight, so maybe he was also concerned with having enough to finish if another one broke out?

I didn't see any changes in 1A. I really expected some more byes. I was making this for anyone who didn't see them when they first came out but of while doing it they release them again but I'll go ahead and post it if someone doesn't want to go to the site....

Whew…Thomasville has swain, draughn or Mitchell, then andrews or Murphy? That’s about as tough a road as you can get imho
Swain has the ability to do a little bit, nice to see them fight back last night.

As an ER fan, I actually don't mind a first-round bye. Gives the Cats a chance to heal up a little. That game between South Stokes and Mt. Heritage could be pretty good. I'd love to see Coach Cates and Coach Diamont meet up. I don't think they've ever faced each other.
With Diamont retiring after the season I would live to see him win another playoff game.
Definitely possible especially with the recent injuries they’ve taken on. That round is when the road starts getting tough for sure.
Full strength Robbinsville for sure could win or make it really close.

One question we've been having on threads discussions about playoff bracket predictions has been answered, was where to put Bear Grass Charter in the East being the only football team in their conference and playing serval 8- man teams if they would qualify to be seeded with conference champions or not apparently @ #7 they was.
I was hoping to see a Mount Airy vs Mitchell matchup again this year which would be in Mount Airy but I don't see them getting past Andrews if they make it that far. Mount Airy has 3 home games but will have to travel to ER for that to happen.
