2nd game will start soon

Due to inclement pending weather, the Cards and Knights are playing a doubleheader today. The first game was moved up to 3:30 pm and the 2nd game was scheduled to start at 7 pm.

Ruxer (6-1) 2.58 era will start for the Cards. UCF did not post their starter. I think they were waiting to find out the outcome of Game 1. I would bet anything that they will throw a RHP in the 2nd game and save a LHP for tomorrow.

We need to win this game somehow.

Olson (3-2) RHP 4.15 era got the start for UCF. Score is tied at 2 as Gardner had a rbi double and Lucas had a sac fly.

Ruxer had a rough 1st inning though and gave up a single and then a 2 run HR.

Cards make a mistake in the 2nd inning after Taylor reached on a hbp. Whiting singled him to 3rd but got picked off at 1st base :-(

UCF takes a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the 5th. Cards had left opportunities on base. UCF has already changed pitchers twice but seem to make the right move each time. Gardner hit into a double play in the top of the 5th with 2 runners on.

Why we are losing? Top of the 6th, down 3-2. We literally looked at 10 pitches. First guy strikes out 0-2 count. Next guy hits a grounder on first pitch. 2 outs. Next guy goes 3-2 count but strikes out looking..

Well, wasn't as bad as I thought, although Crain (3rd batter) struck out, the catcher dropped the ball and Crain made it to 1st. The pitcher then delivered a wild pitch that allowed Crain to get to 2nd in scoring position. Next guy lined out to CF.

Cards tie the game at 3-3 via two throwing errors on separate plays by the Knights. Sturgeon into pitch. Let's go Cards, score a run and its Burdi time!!!!
