With the ten players we have, Rutgers comes in at #96, last in the B1G.
8 B1G top 25/ 13 top 50, Penn St 82, Minnesota 90.

it can put an awfully big black eye on the program when you do what we did... or in this case didnt do with Harper and Bailey this past seasonWhen was the last time we had a roster this bad? Even Hill and Jordan's rosters seemed were more talented. Crazy that we've reached the bottom again
All of Hill and Jordan's teams were a lot worse than #86, so if we are going by these projections it will still be like the 3rd best team we've had in 20 years if you don't count other Pike teams. When was the last time we had a roster this bad? Ha, ha ... Geo Baker was not well rated AT ALL, was not considered even a Top 250 player, maybe not even a Top 300 player, coming out of high school. His Freshman year performance cam out of nowhere, and was a complete surprise. It's amazing how much stat geeks put into investment and information and how it rarely works out that way. None of these projections can account for movement up and down in competition level and with so many new faces/freshman involved.
As soon as Lino Mark and Kaden Powers start putting up good numbers, a lot of these projections fly out the window. Mark is better than any RU frosh guard recruited out of HS not named Dylan Harper since Geo Baker. That includes Montez Mathis, Paul Mulcahy, Jalen Miller, Derek Simpson and JaMicheal Davis.....and projects better than Jordan Derkack and Jeremiah Williams, just based on how poor both guards shoot from 3.
Money would overcome these issues but we don't have any.it can put an awfully big black eye on the program when you do what we did... or in this case didnt do with Harper and Bailey this past season
i think a lot of people warned and feared the irreparable damage it could cause if we did not come through
It probably pays well, in buck and clicks...It's amazing how much stat geeks put into investment and information and how it rarely works out that way. None of these projections can account for movement up and down in competition level and with so many new faces/freshman involved.
