North Iredell could be a very interesting match, but we will see. North Iredell in the old school days when they had solid programs. They were about the only program to beat Starmount back in their years under BW Holt in the regular season. What does Starmount have returning? I watch them play one 1 time and 90% of their offense was number 33 Dezern. And most players were Seniors. North Iredell want be great team in 3A, but i believe they will improve.

Mmm interesting schedule.

Starmount vs Trinity will be fun. They scrimmaged each other at South Stokes last year and Trinity honestly played Starmount pretty well. Scored on a couple of long passes then Starmount ran the ball down their throats. Trinity from what I heard had a lot of seniors so I expect them to be younger. North Iredell game will be fun too; they have always been a solid foe to Starmount even in the old days. They look at this one as a winnable game Starmount's gotta come with the dinner pail that night NI's got some size.

Bush game will be fun; they will be a year older. If QB is still there it will be a much closer matchup. No idea what North Wilkes was thinking scheduling them though. It'll be over early that night.

Worst I see them doing is 2-3 heading into NW play but they could easily be 4-0. With the JV talent coming up they should have a fun couple of years.

Why is Starmount playing North Iredell and not East Surry?

Did did one team back out of the game or who is to blame for this change?

The game is always a money maker for both schools and a great series.

I hate that they will not be playing for the next two years.

I think that they are only 30-45 minutes away.

Starmount backed out, hasnt been much of an even series the past 8 years. I am with you though i hate they backed out because i believe Starmount wouldve had more for them this year

North Iredell match up might be a good evenly game to watch. North Iredell they do have a lot of good loyal fans that will bring money to the gate. And its only about 20 to 25 minutes away.

I’d say so that’s the most interesting game on their pre conference schedule. Both teams will probably have a good idea of how their season will go after that game

So did Starmount back out so they would have a chance to win or to make money? There is no way they will bring more fans than ES. North went 2-8 last year.
