2023 playoffs SMC

Week one 4-2, round two 3-1. So far that's not bad for bunch slow mountain men. However.we may only have one team left after round three, but still proud of everyone in the SMC

Imagine if Polk had won one more game. Then Swain would been a 10 seed and a potential 4th round match up with Robbinsville. Thanks also to those two Santas Land Conferences that get seeded above SMC 2nd and third place teams.

If that would have happened, Swain would be playing Mount Airy this week instead of Murphy, as Murphy would then be the 11 seed. Murphy would being playing ER this week. Mountain Heritage would have had to play Thomasville last week as the new 12th seed. You would get Polk County this week, and face either Mountain Heritage, Thomasville or or North Rowan next week. I think.

They are 15 seed. So Polk moving up from 23 to 9 would push them to 16 seed. Robbinsville side of bracket.

Your also assuming polk would have landed at 9 the rpi would have changed with another win they could have been anywhere from 9 to 6 depending on how it broke down those teams where all close in rpi
