2018 Vandy Super Regional Highlights

That weekend was one of the most stressful weekends i've ever experienced as a MSU fan.

That’s gotta be the best Super Regional to date. We’re what, 20-23 years into the current format? Can’t think of another one as intense as that one.

Game 1: We go from up 7-2, to tied 7-7, to up 8-7 in the 8th, to tied 8-8 in the 9th on essentially an inside the park homer, then Mac hits a walk-off homer.

Game 2: We led from the 2nd to the 8th, then Vandy tied it, then Bleday hit a walk-off homer

Game 3: Tied 4-4 going to the 9th, we score 3 in the Top of the 9th, they hit two homers to tie it in the bottom, and then hit another ball to the warning track, and then we end up scoring 4 in the 11th and winning it.

It was an absolutely bonkers weekend.

Uhhh yeah - just like every MSU (any) sport weekend in my ENTIRE life when something is actually on the line to play for...that stress is something I've come to live with!...wash, rinse, repeat!

That is pretty wild to have two games decided by walkoff homers and one decided in extra innings.

Its one of 2 Supers we have been in that have gone all 3 games (2011 vs Florida being the other) out of the 9 Supers we have been in since the format started in 1999. It was great baseball, but certainly took years off

Nah, that whole postseason was gravy for me, after we swept Florida. Just happy to be there.
