Not one pick from the 3A state champions or their elite front four. That’s a JOKE. Stop playing politics and get it right. Very disappointed.
Lee, we all know that these lists aren’t always great. Deana and her staff tries their best. We get sized for rings next week, I think most will take that over being All-State.
Who do you think should have replaced anyone that list? It's an individual award list, not a team effort.
I think the Catholic kid who should have been on here would have been Jacobs as an athlete. Kid did a ton for that team.
That was my thought. Did a lot of different things and did them well.
The only D Line I may question (although I do not know that much about all of them) is Clark from North Stanly. Absolute beast but I am sure he missed some games missing the last playoffs and last few in regular season. One question for Catholic is which DL do you put on the team. That is a situation where they somewhat knock each other out of the race.
To me, no Bowick at wideout or athlete is much like Jaire Alexander not being selected in 2014. Wrote that he was the best player I saw that season and he was special. Had watched him play as a youth. May be Bowick can perform near that stratosphere.
I agree B&G. Michael Neel too. He did everything also. Guess he wasn’t worth a damn either. Those guys stood toe to toe with their competition and shined brightly every game but let’s give it to someone else anyway. ********.
