Tulsa's first 2017 commit in June 2015...

6-foot-3, 228 pound linebacker Chase Brown hasn't had the chance to be on the football field much in his first two seasons at Kerrville (TX) Tivy, but that didn't stop him from earning a scholarship offer from Tulsa. And it didn't take long for him to commit to the Golden Hurricane.

The recruiting process is already moving at rapid speed for 2017 Rivals100 cornerback Chevin Calloway. The offers arrive daily as do the college coaches, and all to catch a glimpse of the standout sophomore. Wednesday alone he received three offers before lunch time with Texas A&M, Wisconsin, and Tulsa all deciding it was time to join Calloway's growing scholarship list....

6-5, 280 pound offensive lineman Kirby Adcock of Nashville, Arkansas, currently holds offers from Southern Miss and Louisiana Tech. Two weekends ago, he traveled to Tulsa to watch spring practice and attend TU Junior Day.

6-foot-7, 320 pound offensive lineman Samir Martula was on hand for a recent Tulsa Junior Day, and he left campus with a scholarship offer from the Golden Hurricane.

Northeastern Oklahoma A&M defensive tackle Wiley Lester was one of several NEO prospects on hand at Tulsa’s recent Junior Day, and after the visit, he received an offer from the Hurricane. The experience was positive all the way around.

Sand Springs (Okla.) Charles Page offensive lineman Lincoln Adams was one of several 2017 in-state prospects to visit Tulsa for Junior Day on March 5, and the big athlete came away impressed with the Hurricane.

North Forney (TX) athlete Khari Dickinson made an unofficial visit to Tulsa back in November and was invited back for TU's recent Junior Day as well. The speedster plays running back, slot receiver and cornerback in high school, and he shows off his skills in the following highlight videos.

As usual, Tulsa is expected to sign a quarterback in this recruiting cycle, and several 2017 signal-callers are on the Hurricane’s radar, including Seth Boomer from Collinsville, Oklahoma. The 6-foot-3 and 190 pound pocket passer was recently on the TU campus for Junior Day.

The recruiting process can heat up in a hurry, and over the last month, Kamren Curl has been one of the hottest prospects in Oklahoma.

5-foot-11 and 170 pound dual-threat quarterback Julian Hoskins is starting to gain more attention from college coaches, and the Edmond (Okla.) Santa Fe product attended a Tulsa Junior Day last month.

6-foot-4 and 285 pound offensive lineman Justin Dutton is a rising 2017 prospect that attended a Tulsa junior day last month. The Guthrie (OK) native took away plenty of positives from the visit.

Last week, Arlington (TX) Bowie speedster Braydon Johnson picked up a scholarship offer from University of Tulsa assistant coach Calvin Lowry. The 6-foot-1, 185 pound wide receiver only played in one football game as a junior, but he started picking up offers this spring during a successful track season.
