Next year will be the worst in RU Hoops history. Wait until Sanders fails to qualify, and as Rutgers fans you know this will happen. I am so depressed right now. We will not win 10 games.

The day we get the news that Sanders doesn't qualify is the day where I debate if I'm going to more than one game all of next season.

Once you accept it...it gets better. Maybe thats why todays news does not faze me...Rutgers was still going to win 8-12 games with Etou so losing him maybe we are down to 7-10..we need a game changer here and thats not coming until another coach is hired

So the new goal of the program is get a commitment for the practice facility in the next 12 months so that we can attract a decent coach next spring

thats about it now

Seems like EJ's job was to bring class and integrity back into the program. I believe he has done that. They never said anything about victories.

David Cox could have been a placeholder for half the money, and we wouldnt have to eat the back end of his contract.

1.5 million in year 5 is a damn expensive placeholder.

You'd think Gregg Lewis is next to transfer as a graduate student available to play right away

Might as well totally break it down and start with Shaq and Diallo playing all center minutes

Along with the lack of talent the program is a revolving door of transfers which results in no stability and even worse the lack of time to develop talent over a four year time frame.I simply can't see how Jordan can attract any top recruits when you don't know how many players will be on the team year to year.

It will not surprise me that there will be more embarrassing losses to teams like St.Peters and St.Francis next season. This is really Littlepage part two and as a long suffering fan ,I'm totally disgusted.

You could have gotten almost any high school coach or someone off the street to do what Eddie has done in two years.

Money down the toilet.

Not buying for a minute that EJ was thought of as a highly paid placeholder to stabilize the program. If Sanders does not qualify and does not come here, we are in the market for a coach next year when previously I thought we were too cheap to eat 2 yrs of EJ's contract. The only way I see that not happening is because so few care anymore.
