NOT worried about either

Guys shooting foul shots were not the Guys who will be getting to the line a lot

And the threes...i thought Corey's form two games in a row look good. Much better looking. Same with Mike and Issa

Not saying we will be a dynamite three point shooting team or shoot 74% from the line, but

Give me some games and I'll worry if the percentage then ....

Well shooting 2-17 against basically a high school team is not good....we know its the biggest weakness of the team so to shoot so bad against the worst team on the schedule with many open looks is not something promising..its only game they can improve but IMO its the one thing that will hold this team back

I would say having a lot of focus tonight was difficult and (hopefully) played into it.

Mensah had two of the worst FT attempts I've ever seen back-to-back in my life. Then, Pikiell mercifully sat him down for the rest of the game. 1-7 from the line. Ug-a-lee.

Games where we hit threes, which aren't going to be plentiful but also won't be never, are going to be games we win. I'm not sure we have another weakness outside of possibly FT shooting. I like that profile.

And one of the made threes was by a walk on towards the end of the game.

This game was a win regardless. The three point and FT shooting is concerning

I agree with this ....but like stated, let's see what happen

Ability to shoot better from three will determine the difference this season ...

Our 5 starters were 10-10 on free throws. The subs were horrible. It concerns me that point guard Souf was 1-7 and Dadika was 0-2. I would think Souf could lose minutes if he cannot shoot them well. Baker did not get to the line at all. That is a little concerning as well. Omoruyi was 1-3, Sa 0-2, Nathan 1-2, Doorson 3-6 which all hopefully can improve. I was at a practice and Souf was hitting about 80 %. It must be in his head. I think he was 63 % in juco which is much better than he was last night.

2-17 isn't bad because CCNY is known for their ability to defend against 3-pointers.

Our 3s looked ugly. Baker missing left and right, not long and short. No rotation.

Corey's shot looks different, but still not fluid.
