This actually surprised me a minute ago when I saw it on Twitter.

I forgot about him and when the coaching change was happening, I had a feeling that he was going to end up going to Iowa or somewhere else for some reason.

I don't think the Austin kid even has facial hair yet. That tells me he's got a lot of development still ahead of him. He could be a real good prospect down the road!

Seems like we rarely beat Louisville head-to-head for recruits.

Losing to Maryland kind of hurts. That's not a program we should lose a kid from Florida to.

Alston has a lot of potential. He's a very smart kid - got accepted into about every Ivy League school, including Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, and Dartmouth. Wisconsin wanted him too. PJ Fleck did not offer him for some reason, even though he is the #1 prospect in the state of Minnesota.

Fleck thought he would lose him to one of those Ivy League teams if he joined the Crew team.

I swear to god that Farniok looks exactly like my neighbor directly across the street - her arms aren't as big but the hair and facial features are exactly the same. Its weirdly eerie. She is going to die when I show her this picture. BTW, the Farniok brothers will anchor the OL in 2 years. Solid!

On the rivals site that TFraizer requested be updated throughout the day, it appears that Cam Jurgens from Beatrice signed his NLI with the Huskers!

Currently 9 scholarship recruits have signed.... No mention of Walkons at this point. Class is probably half full at this point.

Losing out to basketball schools like Louisville and Maryland is kinda sickening but I guess we have work to do on the field before we start winning those head to heads.

We are likely to leave the day with 10 commitments from what I’ve been reading with an 11th coming on Friday. I’d call today a win with who we have on board! GBR!!
