Conference 43
Essex (10-1-2) With the return of Junior captain CB Tri Blanks to the lineup, the Trojans have turned it up of late. A big 4-3 win at Rapp and a 2-1 win over 3A Warhill this week has shown that Essex is starting to get into some good form. Also a forfeit win over Lancaster. A big test coming Monday as they travel to face 5A Menchville.

Rappahannock (7-6-1) The presumptive 2 seed in Conference 43 has shown big 8-0 wins over Northumberland and Lancaster. The Raiders have struggled this year against good teams but still have potential to go deep in the playoffs.

Lancaster (2-10) The Red Devils haven't shown much this year. They have a couple good mids and a good keeper but as a whole squad haven't shown much. A 1-0 win over Northumberland and a close 5-3 loss to 2A W&L may show that the Devils are getting into some good form as the tournament approaches.

Northumberland (2-11) The Indians with former Essex coach have improved this year. Posting their first win in 3 years and adding some athletes to the team. As a squad though all they really have is a couple of solid mids. There's plenty of athletes so its possible they could grab up a win againt Lancaster this Wednesday.

Conference 42
Mathews (11-2) The Blue Devils have had a year that nobody could have expected almost coming out of nowhere. Two wins over Rappahannock this year have showed that these boys can play. I am interested to see how they play in the postseason though as they haven't had the toughest schedule. A surprising 3-0 loss to King William a week ago showed that this team can be beat.

West Point (8-4) The pointers have the title as the only team to beat Essex this year in a 3-2 win over a month ago. They have a solid midfield with a solid striker and a couple good defenders. Not a complete squad but could cause an upset in the post season. Never count these boys out.

Middlesex (4-9-1) I haven't seen the Chargers play this year but based on some scores they are improving. I really don't see them making it to regional as I believe West Point and Mathews have it pretty easy this year.
