Back when a 10-2 season, a #6 ranking and a New Years Day bowl game beatdown of a top 5 team was considered a bad year. Fire Osborne!!

LSU has never beaten us in football 5-0-1.
Four of the five in Major New Years6 bowls.

Still pissed that Tyrese Knox for fumbling in the fiesta bowl against Florida State. 😒

We played several teams that finished #1 or #2. About every team would go on a bowl losing streak under those conditions.
1987 Florida St ranked #2
1988 Miami ranked #2
1989 Florida St ranked #3
1990 Georgia Tech national champs
1991 Miami national champs
1992 Florida St ranked #2
1993 Florida St national champs

Would love to have seen those Florida teams come up to Lincoln in late Dec and play in the cold and snow like the current playoffs.

My guess is the 1993 Oklahoma game in Lincoln 21-7 had a wind chill below zero.
