Good to hear that he and JMike are getting along so well. I wonder if they are roommates.
I believe the frosh are paired as roommates, the alley-oop vs SHU is one of those easy baskets we need to keep building on.
Didn't look that easy to me. Griffiths made a great adjustment to catch it and lay off the backboard.
Gavin looks like he might still be growing. Man, as he builds his strength an confidence, he will bring the house down many nights at the RAC. Lots to accomplish this year, and then next year, look out.
I am happy for Gavin. He and JMike are so easy to root for. Dylan had a great night tonigh scoring 22 points in the first half over Paterson Eastside the defending Group IV state champs. I don't even think he played in the second half as they had a large lead at the half. GO RU.
I am actually really happy seeing this and how he is friends with JMike. With Ace and JMike being best friends and Dylan and Ace super close, Gavin being close to JMike will help this team chemistry next year and not make him feel he is outside the group.
Me too. And I was thinking the entire team should shoot 1000 FTs a day until they all get over 80% from the line.

At a minimum they should shoot some foul shots before the game and during half time instead of layup drills that are uncontested.
I'm sure most of them are out their on game mornings working on them. Sitting in 105 Row A today is was VERY clear what GG is doing wrong (and VERY fixable):
he's fading backwards on his shot and follow-thru. Pretty sure it's his left foot moving up/back. Really weird.
Layup drills are just a warmup, to get the body moving; not actually practicing making a layup.
