Apparently if you just don't play anybody and still lose 2 games against those nobodies, D1 will make you the second-highest ranked ACC team.
I know I’m being a homer, but I disagree with that poll. State has no business being ranked that high, and no way should TCU be ranked in the top 20 with six losses. Don’t even get me started about LSU and their horrible series loss to Sacramento St. I just want to win the series about Cal at this point though. I’m hoping this past weekend was a fluke.
Usually I agree with D1 but I’ve gotten to the point where their rankings are on par with how they put out their information. I’ve had a D1 baseball sub for years but just got rid of it. Listened to their reaction pod today and they spent 7 mins talking about Florida/High Point and then about 2-3 mins talking about our serious. I’ve brought this point up to Fitt before and says they do this because they’re trying to draw people to the site to read their articles and buy subs… I get you have to make money, we all do but them being the largest college baseball outfit around I feel they could do a much better job with their information getting out to the public. Just my 2 cents.
