Micic blows out Pletcher and Myers of VT upsets Phillipi. RBY also gets beat.

Micic looks very good right now but this weight is still wide open and Daton will be right in the thick of it.

Also for some reason DeSanto didn't wrestle tonight. Went thru warmups etc but they put a backup in for the 133 match. Report that RBY was injured in his match.

Desantos was held out or / ineligible to wrestle because he got called for unsportsmanlike conduct two meets in a row. The match with iowa is big for this weight class. Fix needs the win vs. a top opponent.. as does Desantos. Its not out of the question for Desantos to win the weight at big10s.. I know micic looked good vs. Pletcher, Desantos has beat him before.. still a lot of wrestling left to go and I think..
#1. Desantos has a tactic of putting pressure on people and getting them to make a mistake, this is perfect for Fix and the way he wrestles as he can change levels and pull or pass elbows for leg attacks
#2. Fix is in great shape and can meet him head on

RBY was injured as he was taken down in the first but continued and lost 7-3.
