The Ohio St game was an extremely stressful viewing experience. I can't remember watching a college game that had so many ties and lead changes. According to a stat site I refenced, the Ru v. Ohio State game had a total of 73.8 possessions, of which nearly 1/2 of those possessions (34) involved either a possession when the game was tied or resulted in a lead change. This may not be a record, but I bet it's in the top 10. Can someone with access to KenPom or some similar site verify this? This bodes well for any close game going forward -- of which, it seems, will be every game from this point.

As a fan, I love these clutch performances. But I'd also like a few blowouts -- in our favor!!

That was one of the most draining games I have ever been through as a fan. It was brutal. Thank God we pulled it out!

In the moment you’re just pissed Sensabough kept making those shots.
Then you look at the replays and see how well defended he was on many of them.
That kid can flat out play.
Cam’s 180 turnaround jumper in overtime after 3 offensive rebounds was sick

I was sick with a fever, cough, headache and body aches and until Mag hit the three I did not enjoy a moment of that game. It truly hurt to watch and to listen. The tension in my body just made it all worse. I could appreciate the game but did not enjoy it at all...

I thought I was being calm and collected until my watch warned me about my resting pulse rate!!
Man it was so bad for me that I thought about @zappaa’s thread a while back about not being able to watch the games on TV. If I was at home, there’s no way in hell I can watch this game. But even at the RAC on Sunday, I contemplated walking around the concourse in circles with 6 minutes left.

Let's face it: close games are far more exciting, but take far more time off our lives, lol. Mostly lost my voice, as usual, but my head actually hurt afterwards too, from yelling so much.

Hilarious.
I had an extremely difficult time watching overtime

All I kept thinking about from that game was how well Mawot did as the defensive “5” when Cliff picked up his third foul early in the second half.

What was it Beth?
I need a good laugh
Mine was in the 110 to 120 range down the stretch. Peaked at 130 at 433 PM, might have been after the game ended dancing around or in the OT. I don't recall. As someone said last year, I am like a full contact watcher. Similar numbers at the end of the Purdue victory.

Yet I was much calmer throughout the Northwestern win except in the last minute. I guess I expected to win that one all along.

I believe it said your heart rate is above 120 beats per minute and you appear to be inactive. Haha. Until that moment I was telling myself I was handling things so well. It was in OT in my defense.

Was there and saw it live, but still got nervous watching replay

Game was great. The commentary. Just idk no excitement. Almost felt like they were watching a different game.

It was my first game with sound off and listening to the RU announcers made it much more enjoyable

As a fanbase, we're still getting used to playing in games this part of the season that truly matter. The feeling of ajida is, well ... delicious. I love every moment of it. 30 years of mostly terrible results (sure, there were a few good moments), but challenging for a conference title, playing NCAA tournament games right down to the wire - these are relatively new things.

Some Games when we trail almost all the way, then pull it out in the end,
I go home and not even sure I enjoyed myself
Happy. Yes, anxiety for the most of it

Were they in sync with the TV broadcast?
No they were 30 seconds behind so I paused my stream to delay it and sync it.
I only checked the board during long commercial breaks. As I was not in real time.
Still worth it. I found I was not as anxious listening to our guys.

I posted that in about 5 threads, don't think it's gotten the attention it deserves...t was a master move by Pike and Mag stepped up big time.

All that stress FINALLY went away when Mag hit the 3. I love this clip of it with the crowd going delirious

That was pretty cool, everybody rising to their feet in sync.

I also like how Cam, who had drifted to the near corner, recognized that Mag was moving to the same corner, so he (Cam) immediately cleared out the opposite side, leaving Mag alone for the pass/shot.

It was a really fun game to watch, exciting as hell. It’s nice to win by 10 and all. But I don’t mind the close ones, especially when we win.

Close games are the best. So much more exciting that way. This team could use a nice blowout win though. Has to be draining on the players if every game is a battle down to the wire
Buckle up, most of our games will be nail biters. We can hold teams down, but we dont score enough to win comfortably

It was so stressful that I broke through to the other side.

About 90 seconds into overtime I was done worrying.
They played such a damn good game refusing to quit and matching OSU every single time they went up that there was nothing to be upset about in a loss.

Hell yea I wanted that freaking win, but it was so hard fought I convinced myself I wouldn’t be that upset in a loss.
