11am kickoffs for 2018

if the schedule is correct at the LSU listing site OUs first 3 games are set for 11am kickoffs. I am not a big fan of that time spot so hopefully the Army game ( which I will be attending with my daughter) isnt also put in that time slot. A little surprised the UCLA game is a 11 am kickoff.

As with ESPN's ridiculous Sunday night baseball scheduling, what the networks want, they get. Weekend and holiday games......in any sport....should start no earlier than 1 pm local time.

Not many games start at 12 noon these days. Time slots with the major networks go 11-2:30-5-7. Most 6 pm game slots are used by ESPN.

The LSU site is pretty solid with its info and always uses CST for starts whereas other sites like CBSsportsline, ESPN etc use EST listings.

3 straight 11 am games to start the season stinks. I often wonder how much say the schools have in these start times.

Interesting. Thats pretty unusual but still better than 11.

While I don’t like 11 am games, I prefer them to games that begin after 2 pm local, which is the best time for NCAA games, IMO. 6 pm games are tolerable, but those 8 and 10 pm games are really tough, which is why I will always be against OU joining the PAC.
