109 listed, but no Green or Domann. I thought the coaches expected both this week?

There was a video of Henrich catching a pass, assumed it was recent.

Right but some reason his name isn’t on that 110 man roster. And that caught my eye. Unless they just forgot him...I don’t know what’s going on there.

Lol, I knew he’d be there. We are just trying to figure out what’s going on with Henrichs. For some reason he’s not on the 110 man rosters. Maybe like Scarletred is guessing, maybe he’s being held out still?

I've seen a video of Hickman catching a pass. But not Henrichs, he is being held out or now.

That’s got to be it. And that’s fine. He’s only a true freshman. Let him heal up completely, don’t rush him and get him back 100% for next year. Dudes one of those elite LBs we NEED at LB for the future. GBR

No Domann. No Green.

That is sub-optimal. I want both of those dudes out there and smashing **** RIGHT NOW!

Henrich (no S) is being held out for now due to injury, as is Thompkins. It's good that Jurgens is actually working out!

So what exactly does the 110 roster mean? We have what 150+ on the team. So what exactly is different from those 40 guys not listed on the 110 team. They aren't able to play games if not on the 110?

Yeah its just the limit they put on the number of players that can be fit into official fall camp activities. I don't know why they do that, but they do that.

They can’t start practice yet. Can only have 110 for fall camp.

So it looks like they saved a spot for Green for when his admissions paperwork clears. But someone will have to sit with an injury before Jojo can be added to the 110.

No Pernell Jefferson listed. Never a good sign when a scholarship player is left off the 110.

Interesting that it was Deontre, Darrion and Stille on the 1 group for the Dline with the Davis twins and Damion at 2. Deontre hasn’t gotten a lot of pub, but he’s bigger and has the tools (I remember quick first step mentioned his frosh year) to be a very good DE.
BTW, that’s a nice 2 deep at DL.

Why do you expect Green to redshirt?

I certainly don't, unless theres info I missed.

Because we shouldn't need him for more than 4 games, which he can do and not lose his redshirt. @inWV just outlined the 2 deep, and that doesn't even include some of the newer guys who redshirted last year like Tate Wildeman, nor does it include DiaShon Neal, Vaha Vainuku, Damian Jackson, or other dudes they could throw in there who have already redshirted or would only be needed for a few plays a game max or special teams. We will definitely need Green next year to be in regular rotation for DE and NT duties. If we can get him for 2 years, even better.

I would say if we use him full time this year, its due to seriously devastating injuries or him being the second coming of Ndomukong Suh.

Isnt he a 3 for 3 guy?

Still not convinced he redshirts.

Hopefully neal finally figures it out.

I thought he was a 3 for 2 guy.
That would make more sense if redshirting is a possibility.

If hes good enough to crack the two deep I doubt he redshirts. Dont know why the staff would fight to build depth on the DLine with a juco only to eliminate said depth.

Would make it easier if Neal is ready to break out.

If some of the younger guys are ready for some snaps, then I could see Green getting a RS.

I love the D-Train is back in the fold. He was a stud his freshman year.

Yep, J Green is a 3 for 2 guy. And that’s why I was saying if he can’t crack two deep right away or soon, Red shirt him and have him for 2 more years after this season. We lose 5 seniors on the Dline after this season and most of them are in the 2 deep. So Green will be very valuable next year and the year after.
