What is the difference between the 100 level and 200 level on the west side? They both look to be chairback, but one is more expensive than the other. Also, the 200 seems to fill up first, which is the higher up and more expensive sections.

200 is totally under the 300 level overhang so it is not only shaded, it is covered in case of rain. Another added advantage is that due to is small size, concessions and bathrooms are not as crowded and very close to your seat. 200 is really the premier outdoor seats at DWS excluding the club levels interior options.

When I contemplate different reasons I would consider killing someone, the thought that I might get their 200 Level tickets is pretty high on the list.

If you have 200 level tickets you either bought them a long time ago when they practically had to pay people to come to games or your wrote one of those big checks like you see in all the casino winner pictures!

Having sat in both a good bit, I prefer the view and atmosphere of the 100s. But the 200s that are in the smaller sections in front of the media booths are the best seats in the house. More of a skybox feel though - not as into the game as the 100s or lower bowl. The concession/bathroom difference is minor since there are facilities at the top of the 100s.

I loved sitting under the upper deck, but I bring my ear plugs. That is the one place the cowbell ringing gets to me. The sound gets trapped under there but having the shade and cover is well worth wearing the ear protection. I hear people that say that it doesn't bother them, but I would bet those people already have hearing damage.

I don't like lower level seats because I can't see as well. I am fan, not a coach, so I like the TV line of site. I have heard some coaches/players talk about how the can see the game better down low, not me.

Me too, but have you noticed a lot of fans seem to think they are coaches? :)

As far as viewing the game, the best seats I have ever sat in were west side 300 level, front row chairbacks on the 47 yard line. You could see everything from there but those late november games could be brutal if the wind was blowing.

Realize each has their on preference but....

I think 200's are hands down the best seats at DWS.

With very little effort it could be "clubbed". I fear suites are the long term plans though.

Having experienced how the East Side CL...

morphed over the years, I'd rather they not. That was a great experience at a good value for a number of years, even staring into the sun and being semi-exposed to precipitation. As it filled up and the staff began looking for ways to force people outside earlier pre-game and then cram more and more people in, it lost a lot of the attraction for us. The last PSL bump gave us further impetus to look elsewhere during reseating.
Meanwhile, as long as you don't crave air conditioning or indoor heat, the 200s have none of those problems, and only lack for a place to relax and watch other games (plus prepaid food and drink). Their current price level also fills a nice niche between lower level seats with good location and the end zone club. I know they'll eventually have to do something to them, but I'd rather they revamp the bathrooms and concessions and keep the general open feel. If the really want to move the press box and add more seats, that's fine too. Odds are I'm whistling past the grave, though. If I am, I'm probably headed to the 100's, since it's the next closest thing.
