Ten wins against ALL (did I say ALL?) Group of 5 teams and one really, really bad P5 team and not ranked even 25th. Last year 13 wins and ranked 25th. Wake up and smell the coffee. I'm sure the SEC, ACC, Big Ten, Big 12 and PAC 12 are lighting up the phone lines to Huntington now BEGGING moo U to join their conferences.

The worst mistake Marshall ever made was leaving the MAC. That league has a long history and tradition that ensured some national respect. Marshall played better programs in the Southern Conference than it does in the current CUSA.

That was the first time. The second time, Marshall left for CUSA in the time frame where all the decent football teams were leaving CUSA. Now, it is basically a IAA conference...
It's funny, when they were running the graphic over and over on ESPN about this being our 3rd consecutive 10+ win season it never mentioned our strength of schedule. When they mentioned this was our 5th consecutive bowl win they never mentioned who we had beaten.
You know that Marshall, Boise, and NIU are the only G5 teams to have 3 or more consecutive years of double digit win seasons? Marshall and Boise have done it twice actually.
What's something wvu has accomplished among P5 teams that only a couple of other teams at their level have accomplished? How have you distinguished yourself in football in any way in the 100 plus years you've been playing? The answer to that is that you haven't. You are P5 conference filler, destined to a future of meaningless mediocrity, that's it.

Why do they call one section of FBS "POWER" 5? And, the remaining schools just a "Group"? They segregated them just like they did D1 and D1aa. Comparing the two as it pertains to records or SOS is ridiculous and myopic.

Only 23 P5 teams have a 0.5975 all time winning percentage or better.
Only 11 teams have 3 or more BCS wins. Only one of those 11 teams was undefeated in the BCS.

Statistics only count when banker came up with them, and even then only when they are unfavorable to WVU.
