    Points are awarded just like in our IT contests (8 points for eagles, 3 for birdies, 1/2 point for pars, points for place on leaderboard, etc.) for the six players rostered.

    Don’t be distracted by contest names (“pitch and putt”). Those are marketing gimmicks and have no bearing on fantasy points earned. Scoring rules in $ contests are identical to ours.

    Most of the contests with “funny names” on DK are GPP (guaranteed prize pool). Bigger payouts loaded toward the top finishers.

    The other kind of contest is known as “cash” or “double ups.” Out of a thousand entrants the top 430 will pay double the entry fee whether they finish first or 430th.

    To enter a $ contest ($20, $5 or whatever the entry fee is), you have to have deposited money in your DK account. There is a green “deposit” box in the upper right of the Home Screen.
