But a cool course in Lamar County is Morgan Dairy. Literally part of a dairy, idk how it came to be. I guess some farmers said "let's make a golf course" and they did. Nice people there. And Griffin City Course was actually surprisingly nice with friendly staff.
But, a couple guys I work with play a good bit and always wear shirts from the cool courses they've played. I'll ask them and see what they have to say
So anyway, to answer your other questions, unfortunately I've been out of the game a while and only played a few rounds since my daughter was born in 2018 about 8 hours before they called the Justin Fields fake punt in the SECCG. So I wish I could give you more info,
nyway Mr Allen's son Nathan, haven't talked to him in years but he was always real nice back in those days and a guy I work with is good friends with him and says he's a great guy
He lived down the street from my best friend in high school, his son is my age, he went to Jackson, we went to Piedmont, they were friends growing up, that's how I know him.
I grew up in Conyers in the 90s then Monticello after Conyers went to **** and I've worked for Burt Jones's dad's company for about 10 years
Hickory Hills in Jackson
Guy named Allen Byars. The worst. The worrrrst. He used to own Shoal Creek in Griffin, sold that place and bought HH. The course itself has always been in good shape going back to 2000 or so and what I saw of it at the range yesterday it looked to be in good shape.
Go read the Google reviews. I have no doubt that all that is 100% true
