My mother's name was Mildred Vaughn. I think she retired around 84 after teaching there 22 years all in the same room. Mother died in 2006 at 86. Every member of my family is a Carolina grad. Mother's BS was from UGA with a masters from USC, two sisters with masters and law. My father and I were the only bachelors degrees from USC. My two sisters graduated from Columbia College.
