DS HAS to sign a Dominant post player who is a HS jr this year, or Portal. We are in on the top 3 posts; Thomas, Tac and Korval. Even if we do sign one of them. No guarantee they are Boston as a freshman.
That team had many problems it was young, with strong personalities that didn’t mesh, a toxic one being T’ea Cooper, who DS refuses to talk about to this day. But the biggest problem was that against good teams we got killed on the boards.
2018-2019 is the last time in a decade we did not have a true post player. Alexis
Jennings 6’2” played post. She was short and UnAthletic compared to Watkins. We were 23-10, our worst record since 2010-11.
24-25(if I’m still alive
) is where I begin to worry. As is, Ashlynn Watkins is the starting Center. She is an exceptional talent and listed at 6’3”. Although there is questions about her true height. I have concerns about her ability to play against larger post players.
You never did answer my question. Are we on schedule or are we being left behind in recruiting. I'm not looking to use your opinion against you. I respect you view of where we are.
How do you feel about our off-season roster activity? Have we been as active as we should have been? Have we come up short on some players we might have expected to acquire? -
