I was on Carvana the other day, and there were about a dozen cyber trucks listed for sale. Every single one of them said ''reserved''. I didn't know they were that popular.

I never understood the allure but while I love my electric Chinese golf cart I'm sitting out the whole electric vehicle movement if that's even a thing anymore.

I do have all Ego yard equipment and it's pretty cool not dealing with gas and gas oil mixes.

Bought Ego chainsaw, trimmer & blower this summer/fall. Should have done this years ago. They’re awesome.

Chainsaw is unbelievable and battery lasts longer than you expect. I'm jealous sounds like you got the good stuff!
Haven’t tried the chainsaw yet. Glad to hear it’s also as good as the blower & trimmer are. I’ve got a tree down on the back part of my property I’ll cut up probably after I retire in January.

Doing my part to support globalization since we can't get away from it. Haven't downloaded Temu.....assuming it's app based and not web based? I'd rather the CCP learn about me from my TCLs than the internet. It provides a more accurate picture of how a red blooded American lives....who likes cheap labor and goods right?

I bought an electric Ryobi 30" riding mower a couple of months ago (not a zero turn). Love it and it cuts beautifully and is great at picking up leaves. Has a bagger attachment that I really like.

No problem with you guys having battery operated mowing equip, etc.
Just don't look forward to being FORCED to do so.
I'm not on an electric vehicle trip, but using my walk-behind Honda just became too tiring, and the Mexican crew I hired for part of the year just made a mess - blew clippings and leaves in the flower beds, didn't cut evenly, and charged a fortune. So I wanted a small riding mower, and the electric one has power enough to have no problem with my zoysia lawn. It was expensive (still just the cost of 10 months paying to have it done), and I find it to be rather cathartic. And not tiring at all.

I still have to use the Honda around some edges but it's because I have a lot of odd shaped flower beds and a pie-shaped lot on a cul-de-sac.

Good, enjoy!

I do believe a large lawn is going to need more, power.
There was some discussion about chainsaws. ...I think they are good, for limited jobs/ situations.
Serious jobs require more.

Good luck hiring someone who won’t a) scalp your yard, b)show up & mow whether it needs it or not, & c) take 2 weeks to show up when you do need it mowed. What happened to teenagers mowing yards like I did?

I went from mowing 3+ acres with a 60” Scag zero turn to mowing 1/10 acre with a Toro 60v 21” self propelled. It’s been a bit of an adjustment. No idea how the Toro compares to other electric mowers but I don’t think it has the power of a gas mower. It’s quiet and gets the job done. It’s sufficient for my current needs but a self propelled Honda would out cut it any day, I just don’t have the storage space for a gas mower and gas can. The electric is certainly convenient.

I've got a couple of properties and about 3 acres total and my ezgo trimmer is plenty. I still cut the grass with a gas powered zero turn though.

i'm going to look into the robotic lawnmowers. Next spring, I think

I was wondering about the riders and zero turns. When electric makes sense I'm 💯 on board.
