Hawthorne can provide good minutes on defense and has decent touch around the rim/in the paint, but man he’s gotta stop shooting 3’s. 0-7 on the year so far and I don’t think the exhibitions were any better.

He needs to focus on what he’s good at and make his 3 point shot an off season project. Too many players these days try to will themselves into being a good shooter when they just aren’t.

Our coach has helped them out a bunch. When you only play man to man when you have very few guys that can play man to man, the other teams going to get shots whenever they want.

Reminds me of the BCG game against Gardner Webb.

Put Moreno down low and play an extended zone forcing them to take mid range shots.
