Saturday was great, but this is still my all-time favorite Halloween memory

Lived in Chattanooga, TN at the time. Only Gamecock fan in sight. Over at my friend's house and had just gotten the latest copy of Beckett baseball card price guide. We were looking up cards and listening to the game. Great day.

I loved those giant shoulder pads. They looked like they had snare drums stuffed under their jerseys.

Hank Campbell! I was at that game.
I live in WNC and some of the UT fans were blaming Johnny Majors becacuse Hank Cambell was a walkon and made the stop, they didn't believe Hank was good enough to make the stop.
I don't remember all the details but that game went a long ways of costing Johnny Majors his job.

I was in the stands for that one. Some Tennessee fans were gleeful because they knew that was the end of Majors. Also the game was memorable because scenes for "The Program" were shot during halftime. The crowd had to cheer for the staged plays being run for the movie.

Kid in one of my classes at school had "We have a MAJOR problem" written on one of his notebooks.

The only stat that sounds familiar is that I think they were held to 48 yards total offense. I am not 100 percent sure about that number though.

I found some stats saying they held NCS to 36 yards total O and 3 first downs but can't find a breakdown of the individual game stats.
