We get to watch NU basketball!!

And about 1000 of us get to watch it at the Welsh. The Bears game is going to kill the Cats tonight.

Always love a new season!! Happy opening night!

I'm ashamed to admit it, but I almost forgot we open tonight. What does that say about expectations and excitement heading into this season?

Indeed! I also appreciate the "We get to..." framing. Yep, there are alot of unknowns out there with this team, but I'm hopeful that this team forms an identity around toughness and leaves it all out there. I also appreciate getting to root for a team led by Coach Collins - he cares about the guys, and wants the school to be represented well.

Yea ... expectations ... don't ask me to go there for now. I want to hear the bouncing of the ball, the shoes squeak anddefensive switches yelled out.
