At a rally in Georgia, President Barack Obama said something remarkable. He said he was tired of being angry and wanted unity back. Really? It reminded me of that scene in The Wizard of Oz, when Dorothy is told that going home is as simple as clicking her heels together three times.

All these totalitarians on the Left had to do was just one thing: ease up, humanize their enemies, and understand this is a big country, and they can’t just decide everyone who doesn’t go along with them is a racist or a “phobe.” They are the intolerant side. They are the side that has refused to allow the other half of America any representation in culture or politics.

Why does he think Trump won not once but twice?

Everyone wants a less divided America. Everyone is exhausted by the fighting. I know I am. But I also know I wake up every day with the knowledge that I have been punished for almost ten years for standing up to them, dissenting against their hysteria and cancel culture, humanizing Trump supporters, and eventually voting for Trump. This only goes one way.

agreed, it's going to take a real leader to say "enough"....get the members in line to start working for the American people and not just against the other party..It doesn't matter any more who started it...just stop it...There can be, and will be political differences...have been for 250 years,...but parties have worked together before and can again.

well Obama made a joke? I thought he was talking about unity and using an example of him wearing a tan suit. It seemed to me as if he were equating the tan suit with disunity..where as we didn't have the same disunity when reagan wore brown and tan suits..therefore, maybe the disunity was caused by something other than tan suits...

no, Obama was talking about unity..and to demonstrate the lack of unity he brought up the tan suit as the example/causation of disunity...my point...Reagan wore tan suits and there was not the same level of disunity...so the tan suits were not the cause of disunity..it was something else....

IMO, the cause of disunity had little to do with tan suits...you can feel that way...and that's fine...
