Is this the “I told you so” thread? Let me give it a try. Kankakee had their chances, but turned out not to be good enough to take advantage. They gave up an 85 yard TD on 3rd and 28 to allow Provi to take the lead in the 3rd quarter. Then got inside the 5 and did not score on the next series. Ballgame.

Kudos to Provi. They had a patient game plan and wore the Kay’s down in the second half. Kankakee definitely challenged the Celtics, though.

I expect MP to challenge Provi as well. I expect Provi to prevail. But, we shall see.
