Round 4 should be fun I'll say. Burns and Hibriten is gonna be a war
I won’t predict 3A but for 4A I’ll say Burns vs. West Iredell in the finals. The Burns/Hibriten semifinal game would be a toss-up but I’ll just give Burns an edge because they’ve been in some tight games. But I wouldn’t be surprised if Hibriten is the best in the west, just hard to know how good they really are.
4A and most likely coming to Burns in round 2. They should handle East Gaston pretty easily next week

My picks also but it comes down to matchups. Shelby only clear favorite on their side of bracket
I would think they should be able to handle EG coming off that big win against WI

Hope they make it that far. Watched your game against Burns. It would be good matchup. Definitely different style of offense.

When Cramer gets into the power run set, especially power run right, they are basically unstoppable. Burns was incredibly lucky to get the win against them. Their OL is huge.
Every player they had looked huge lol. Even receivers
Depending on the sets we sometimes put 3 receivers out there that are over 6’3”
I’m sure the mountain teams are big and they are on our side of the bracket
It’s high school football and anything can happen, but that Burns/Hibriton game in round 4 will be a war if it works out!!!
They will be big but speed is typically an issue with those mountain teams.
Not us. If we meet in the 2nd round, this is a smaller team than normal for us. Hopefully, we’ve got the monkey off our back as far as turnovers. If so maybe we can get more creative in our playbook, handle Foard with good execution and give y’all a run for the money in round 2.
Make no bones about it, we just need to finish on a a high note. The next two years should be when our leadership and talent comes together.
I remember going to Canton my senior year in high school to watch SP play there.
No chance I’m not taking my Dogs the distance so looking at the other side I’ll take SC or Wi. Hibriten will be a war though. We have Bunker Hill most likely next week. That’s all that matters.

People said we couldn’t run on them and our first two scores were big runs by Ussery and Davis. Nobody could catch them when they broke. We got Romelo Wells into the receiving role and he scores in the air. If we play like we proved we can, we can win the whole thing. We cannot collapse in the 4th quarter. Penalties and turnovers cannot happen in the playoffs. That heartbreaking loss could can be one of two things. It could be the thing that propels this team to be what they can be or it can destroy us. It’s up to the players to decide.

How many coaches in the West bracket have made it to state championship. Lot of young coaches in our area
I have said for weeks it would be Hibriton, Burns, Cramer, or WI with hopefully them meeting in the final 4 of the West. Brackets have setup for that to happen so I am sticking with it.
