Honestly, the loser of this game should be forced to take that ugly trophy.
I wanna see the game photo of that sack. 4 Hawkeyes on top of a poor little Badger after a sack.
He got lucky and learned something from it. At least he recovered it (preserving the shutout either way) and didn’t bat it out of bounds.

I'll say it again, us getting dumped out of the Top 25 was ********. And it certainly appears that Wisky taking a spot in the rankings after last week was ********, too.

Weird thing is, if Iowa doesn’t get beat by MN on a last second FG, they’re probably sitting around 10-12th by Monday.

Im aware how Iowa lost. The point was that Iowa dropped over 10 spots, out of the rankings, on a last second score on the road to a 5-2 team.
Does Eichorst fire another 9-4 red and white teams head coach after a bad outing against Iowa?

I wondered that also, and Hawk gear from head to toe.....
Its pretty clear he WON the job. Make an argument that Hecks performance has been better or more consistaent.......
Not holding my breath, watched Iowa football way too many years to get too excited
Iowa started hot. Jumped to a 10-0 lead. Wisconsin had rhythm on their 2nd drive. Got to the 2 yard line and got stuffed on 4th and goal. Iowa took it 98 yard for a TD. The Badgers next series they fumble and Iowa kicks the field goal to go 20-0 before half. Wisconsin never recovered mentally.
Also should note Iowa held the ball a long time in their early drives. I think they had the ball 11 or 12 minutes in the first quarter. Wisconsin’s d was burnt midway through the 2nd and couldn’t stop the run anymore.
