Interesting thread on X. Is 247 part of the Schiano cheer team?. Greg is the Godfather? Which son is Fredo?
There is a Schiano Hype Machine?

The answer has always been yes. Some people have always put him on a pedestal. Some “media” think they have to be nice to him to get “access”. But he locks everyone out.
247:
from the day Bobby took over, for about 6 months, every moderator on that site swore up and down that neither Dylan Harper nor Ace Bailey would ever step foot onto our campus.

"He is not getting the attractive coaches that can recruit in the transfer portal NIL era."
That's it, and has been the issue for several years now in the 2.0 era. As he lost the talented coaches, those that were innovative, able to connect with players from the portal, he's continued to decline.
The Nebraska loss in 2022, with that one really bad play Gleason called, was the beginning of the end. I always thought at that point, he thought he had to go back to being a micromanager. He thought he was the main character, the hero, not the other coaches. If RU was going to win it was because he was going to take control. That lead to the talented coaches leaving one by one over the past several years, and lead to Schiano going back and hiring the same re-treads as before. After that 2022 season, it was all about control. But he failed to realize he no longer had it as a coach, that the game had changed, that being so controlling just stifled the team.

With Schiano's success rate, how do you even mention The Godfather in the same sentence as him? I'd rather the Godfather Mitch and Hank the Tank on the sidelines at this point.
Schianopox
Some of our donors need a forced vaccination
Some of our donors need a forced vaccination
Let’s see how these people after we get smoked a few more times. Psychobabble ******** only gets you so far
If our •Big Donors” still want Greggy then we need new donors. All do respect but our big donors have not been right for 30 years and counting
So that’s what our huge athletic support staff actually does, post online spin instead of actually coaching and developing.
Its due to the carryover from Gandolfini support / Sopranos aura from Schiano 1.O which seems to still carry weight with certain foolish people 20 years later.
Exactly
But they dont want to lose their power
The whole lot needs to go. They are synonomous with losing. In the nil era new donors will lead the way
Yup
Its so lame in 2026
Hilding in to memories from a world that doesnt exist and quite frankly never really existed
And then masked that any Rutgers NIL went to either player, making things look even worse than they were.
She is likely the big donor who will be responsible for Greg coming bac next year
