Rutgers wins 2-1 to get an important resume win. I think 1 win in the BTT will have the team dance for sure. Right now it'll be close.

Yeah, the season started off horribly with that 5-1 loss to Monmouth, but the girls gelled by mid-season, and they ended up winning 6 of their last 7 games, and the one loss was 2-1 to #1 Northwestern on a goal with three minutes left in the game.

One win in the BTT probably locks them in for the NCAAs, and they have a decent chance even with a loss.

RPI up to 13 now. Definitely on the bubble. May get in either way but 1 more win in the B1G Tourney probably gets the team into lock status.

10 of the 18 teams for the tourney are via auto qualifiers:

• America East Conference
• Atlantic 10 Conference
• Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC)
• Big East Conference
• Big Ten Conference
• Coastal Athletic Association (CAA)
• The Ivy League
• Mid-American Conference (MAC)
• Northeast Conference (NEC)
• Patriot League

And some of these teams will be mediocre. So, the 8 at-large bids may not go that deep in the RPI rankings. RU needs more wins.
