I can see an Iowa State type situation happening - Goodale gets renewed in some capacity for a few more years to allow AA to grow into the role.

I'd be surprised if he wanted to retire or if they didn't renew his contract but we'll find out. No one is paying the big $$ to bring in Burroughs or similar. It would be nice if they at least gave him a 1 week contract to retire at 55 if they decided to move on.

Man back up that brinks truck to JB and call it day. There is 1 sport for sure Rutgers could be great in and that’s wrestling. Jersey wrestling culture and affluence and large alumni base, football is a wash and hoops well given Rutgers location should be fantastic but it’s not. Wrestling is as simple as hire a big time coach and it’s a done deal. And when I mean big time I mean the coaches with Olympic and world championship hardware that can attract big time talent RTC as well.

It's a lot of $. Not sure Rutgers is willing to put $5M-$10M+ towards wrestling.

JB expressed interest coaching at the collegiate lvl.. he’s probably a top candidate for Iowa once Brands are done.. if RU had the bag to get JB.. I do think he’s the only coach that can have the Cael/DT affect..
