Every remaining game is most likely a loss, and Michigan is a particularly formidable opponent. I'm not going to wax on about Michigan alums, as nobody really gives a sheet about that stuff. This is about football, and nothing else.

Michigan has an elite defense, and as shown last week, against a solid defense, Rutgers' offense is putrid. With Lonergan likely out, Rutgers has no chance of scoring more than a field goal or two.

After Michigan, it does not get any easier. The team will have lost two games in a row by a wide margin. Wisconsin is back, and their defense dismantled USC. Nebraska is greatly improved over last year. While struggling, Penn State will likely crush Rutgers at home. Michigan State appears to be improving each week.

With no defense, even Michigan's weak offense will score at will.

Michigan 27
Rutgers 3

Mine was UMass. For the 60+ years I've watched football that was the least prepared to play team I've ever seen. I was always a big Greg supporter but that in addition to the putrid portal results and the never ending DC search convinced me that it's time for a change.

midway through the first quarter of that game I saw the light

GS is done

This is probably about right, although you may have understated the point total. Michigan has scored 20 or more points only twice this year, a 52-17 win over UTEP (#111 in Total Defense, #134 Scoring Defense) and a 21-18 win over Penn State (#28 in Total Defense, #28 Scoring Defense). Rutgers has the worst defense in the B1G this year at #122 in Total Defense and #127 in Scoring Defense (tied with Maryland).

Michigan 38, Rutgers 10

If no DL at QB we don’t score more than 2 FGs. With DL perhaps one TD to Duff so max 13 pts.

Mich had a historically bad offense for Mich but they will have a season’s best output vs RU

UM 28
RU 6-13 depending on if DL is healthy

Counting on this game being one of those Greg said we would win when we weren’t expected to…

‘cause it couldn’t have been Maryland he was talking about right???

Right?

Like you ,I've watched Rutgers for 60+ years and the UMASS game was my point of no return. I shut the game off before halftime in total disgust. I was literally shocked by how physically dominated and out-coached was Rutgers by UMASS.

Watch Carr look like Peyton manning cs us. How many times under GS have we seen backup QBs have career games vs RU

I predict Michigan has their best P4 offensive production this season vs us

That's because you've clearly never seen Lisa P dance to Expose ...

In fairness, I did say "song". And you're right, I'd never seen her dance to that. I actually thought the videos were kind of interesting. Once. And was Gene McDaniels the "100lbs of Clay" guy?

Tommy Carr will look like the Heisman favorite after Saturdays game. It never fails with us. We are Michigan’s Howard game.
