This kid's game is definitely not what I expected to see when I heard "7'5" center". Most of those guys are too awkward to walk and chew bubble gum at the same time. This kid can dribble, run the break and shoot 3's. This isn't some stiff, this kid has skills. I'd be happy to get him.

Hopefully UK can upgrade at the center position regardless if he stays or not. Hes not much of a presence down low.

Other than being a Kentucky boy im not sure what BBN is stuck on him for. I've never really cared about where a player is from. Just how they perform. Hes mid.
He’s a very good college center. What else was out there to take his spot?

I agree with the concerns about 7'5 guys. Sure there are a few good ones, but most of these guys can't walk and chew gum at the same time. His ranking suggests he's not a phenom at that height. With that said, his highlights don't look horrible, so maybe it's worth the gamble.

^^^^My first watch of his athleticism was impressive. This is a solid pick up!

How old are you? Do you seriously find enjoyment is this? If you are above the age of 14 I seriously feel sorry for you. Please get a life, watch porn, get a hobby, do something because this is a sad existence.
He is a troll and has had several accounts banned. One of only three people I have put on ignore because he/she/it just tries to make fun of the fanbase. Just added this account.

Surprised to see ESPN has Millogo as #8 Overall in the class and ranks him as a 5 star. While I don't give much credence to ESPN's rankings, still surprising considering every other site has him between 29 and 44 generally (and a 4 star). I was a little confused when a headline referenced UK picking up a prediction to land a 5 star. Now I see why, they were using ESPN's rankings.
Alright, your moniker may be the coolest on this site…

He reminds me of a “great value” chet holmgren. Handles the ball well for 7’5”, passes well, can hit the three. Just depends how good he wants to be. There are alot of tools there.

Yep. People were saying Chandler wouldn’t transferring either. No one knows anymore with NIL.
Everyone with a pulse said Chandler was gone soon as season was over. Said his wife was ready to leave and if you are married you know how that goes. Also byu would pay more than uk and guarantee starter minutes.

Historically, these “super big” prospects usually turn out to be disappointing busts similar to Shagari Alleyne.

But it’s well worth taking the chance in the hopes that you might’ve found the rare one that becomes Zach Edey.

He definitely has a good view of the court from way up there.

Even if he is Tacko Fall level he'd be worth it.

Well he IS one of 2 UK players projected on the pre season all sec teams .

And he WAS voted to last years sec all freshman team.

So I believe it’s more than just BBN fans that are “stuck on him” .

I think part of the reason is bad coaching. The kids are really tall so the coach puts him down low, by the basket. Doesn't let the rest of his game develop, including ball handling. Looks like his coaches have developed these other areas of his game. I remember the talk about AD was he was a shorter guy in his early HS days but then kept growing. Fortunately AD already knew how to handle the ball reasonably well prior to that growth spurt.

Who is the last 7'5 guy that could dominate a college basketball game? Not to be a wet blanket but those guys are too slow and too physically weak to make an impact. It just never works out with these dudes.
Yeah. Let’s just let Bama or UT get him. Not worth the risk. SMH

Alleyne was ranked as the #73 player in the 2003 high school class per ESPN. Unranked on 247 (Scout). On3 (Rivals) had him as at a score of 93.9, which is comparable to Travis Perry, Isaac Humphries, and Dontaie Allen. I remember him being much more of a 3-star project at the time. I didn't think Tubby put a lot of effort into that class with Hayes, Daniels, and Estill (potentially) returning. He corrected the next year with Morris.

Millogo is rated as a 95.8, which is more in the Reed Sheppard, Charles Mathews, Malachi Moreno level. Millogo is probably under ranked currently, based on some of the things we've seen.

I would not expect Millogo to start next year, but a similar development path and possible future could be to follow some of the Purdue bigs, other than Edey. AJ Hammons, Isaac Haas, and Matt Haarms types. Painter has another one coming up in Daniel Jacobsen this year.

7'3 Haarms, btw, transferred to play for Mark Pope at BYU in 20/21.

Also, Pope looked at Gabe Dynes, who is at UL this year too.
