****. I saw this posted somewhere else. ****. Safe Travels Donnie. He was Pittsburgh. He was the sound of Pittsburgh at one point in time. He looked like Pittsburgh, sounded like Pittsburgh, had the same sneer so many folks in the Mon Valley and Three Rivers carry in an affectionate way.

I had some beers with her at IUP. Yes she was very pretty.

I didn't know Donnie Iris when I was in HS with her; I had just moved back from Japan and Blackhawk was entirely new to me. She was always very friendly and of course super popular. I ran into her from time to time in Chippewa during Thanksgiving break or whatever in college and we'd chat some (recall she was an aspiring fashion designer - but, married with kids and stuff now...). Tough day for her and the family - I sent a note....

Johnstown, PA is fairly close to Indiana, PA wouldn’t you agree?

One of the early stalwarts on MTV. RIP - Bret Michaels of Poison had a nice post on Facebook about him. Both Western Pa natives though Bret moved to Mechanicsburg
