I've now seen every team in the B1G play.

So, which one of these 8 examples is Campbell outperforming? This is diverse list of programs and coaches. Surely he’s outperforming someone.
You're not evaluating equal opponents. We've literally played our toughest games to this point.
We might be the only fan base trying to compare first year coaches less than 2/3rds into the season
Notice you changed the topic because you were dead wrong about hiring Smith would have been the equivalent--you probably have no clue who even the coaches were at Ole Miss and Utah prior to them getting those roles. If you even knew prior to looking up records this morning.

I'll remember this when ________________ (fill in the blank) is running it down PSU's throat in the coming weeks.

Do you argument has played its hardest teams of the easiest schedule in P4? What do you say er the next loss?

Why wouldn't be always be evaluating things?
Is BYU as good today as they were before the UCF loss?
Is Utah still considered weak after beating Houston because of their easy early schedule
If/when we lose again we discuss that data point.

So which coaches is he outperforming? I’ll buy any rationale you provide. You just have to say which ones.

Allow the season play out. There's a solid chance we win 7 (I don't care if we win 3 or 8--all the same--out of the playoff) which will put him on par with most, not all, of the others, especially when you factor in SOS.
I think almost everyone here agrees we're probably 5-2 if not 6-1 if Howard was healthy

Golding was the DC at Bama and Ole Miss
Morgan Scalley had been Utah's DC for a decade and was name the coach in waiting in 2024 to keep him at Utah
How are they the equivalent to Terry Smith?

"Minor League Matt" proves my point. And pretending Oregon is still a big win is laughable. They don't even think they're good.
Yet they’d probably beat PSU.

But, but, but, we didn’t play anyone with a pulse this year. Let’s at least keep our hypocrisy straight.

Analyze the numbers. Watch him play. Consider the opposition.
Grunk was loyal...to James...ask the insiders
Howle is actually running an offense for a pocket passer. Would have been amazing if James ever did that here.
Yeah I have seen him play several games. Have YOU watched any Penn State games and seen Becht play? Anyone who doesn’t recognize that Grunk is playing far better than Becht is beyond delusional. Maybe you could share your analysis of Becht’s numbers in the 4 games after the opening 3 cupcakes.

More excuses; different day. Tell us NOW how many of the last 5 games Penn State will win.

So you are claiming UCLA’s schedule is easier than Penn State’s. Keep digging.

Northwestern certainly has a pulse
Wisconsin and USC are each ranked in a poll as well
Not great losses. No good wins even if we win out. None of these losses rivals UCLA last year though. Nor do we have the talent of last year. Right?

I mean, I know this isn’t a very good team right now, but I’m almost positive that they would be betting favors against at minimum, Rutgers, Michigan State and Purdue.
I'm going to have to agree on Michigan State after watching them Saturday. Well find out real soon with Purdue but darn Rutgers gave USC a helluva run

Yes I've seen Becht play. I've also seen other QBs look awful against Wisconsin and Michigan (did you watch their games this weekend). Becht played well against USC. Not good enough in the other 3. Just like Grunk was horrible against an at best mid tier Cal team.
Grunk's having a better year in a lower tier conference. Kudos. I'd have like to have kept Grunk but it was never going to happen

UCLA could be in the B10 championship game.

Their toughest games are at Michigan and at Minny. I don't see them winning both but you never know. They beat Nevada, Illinois and get Riley fired beating USC. Chesney developed a run game and good defense that keeps them in every game. Hmmm, another school would benefit from having that? Plus he is still winning with a journeyman backup QB.

Just keep going back to that one game…yes it was a bad loss, but getting curb stomped by NW wasn’t exactly great either.

Northwestern is currently in the top 20
Giving up over 40 to a then winless UCLA team who would finish 3-9 is infinitely worse
I still think everyone is willfully underestimating Northwestern this year.

You shouldn’t lose to the #1 team as badly as Penn State got manhandled by NW, let alone a team just in the top 20.

Wait, are you talking this year or 2025? Which was worse? 2025 was considered by many as the greatest collapse in CFB. I don't think this year is any great surprise to people with a clue.

In which game in 2025 did we get manhandled like we were a middle school team playing a varsity team?

Have you heard of "as bad a situation"

You sPITTers are everywhere you're not wanted or needed.
Are you always wrong or does it just come naturally to you? You're living proof of what they say about someone that ASSumes. Not a Pitter, PSU alum and former season ticket holder in fact.

They have a good shot at the playoff. I think if they get by Minny on the road and just lose to OSU down the stretch then they could get in at 10-2.

Wouldn't a potential playoff team blowing us out this year on the night they opened their new stadium be reasonable?
