Philadelphia's Bermudagrass field doesn't look all that great. Pretty thin. Maybe they've had one too many concerts there.

What the brewers have done since Labor Day has to be one of the most impressive stretches of baseball ever played, at least in my lifetime. If they can sweep the Rays they will have won 26 of their last 30 games, including playoff sweeps of the 2nd & 3rd best teams in the league. Only playoff loss was a 1 run game to SD

I don't have a dog in the fight (although I do like beer more than I like marine life), but that 5th inning was brutal, and I only watched the recap.

Agreed, cold baseball is the worst.

That far north it’s probably a good idea. I hated playing baseball in the cold. Fall? Yes, but cold? No.

As much as they get paid they can deal with the weather. I just think the cold always adds an interesting dynamic to it though.

It is so hard to stay loose and play well in the cold. I want to see the best baseball by the best players and it does not happen in the cold in my opinion.

Kind of like the rough and fast greens at the US Open, some folks like it and some don’t. I’m a high rough/fast green kind of guy.
