Hey at least it’s fun to stop pretending the playoffs were a reasonable possibility

8-4. Gonna lose to NW and Neb. Oh well. Winter sport season now.

Agreed.

you’re never gonna be a college football playoff contender when all you’re doing is picking off FCS transfers in the portal

Better now than in 2 weeks. 8 wins (yes it’ll still happen) and KF will come back next year to get 9.

Oh come on. Everyone one on here thought we had a chance. Likely would have been favored in every game.

The playoffs were absolutely possible if we won out. But Iowa does not have the coaching or the talent to do so. Now it's over and a question if we're going back to Tampa or Nashville. Same old same old.

There's not a single sure victory left on the schedule.

Wisconsin? Not remotely the same Wisky we've piss pounded the past couple years.

Northwestern? Third or fourth best team in the conference right now.

Purdue? Oh sure. After all, they lost to Minnesota and got manhandled in the trenches too. errr.....wait...

Illinois? Okay, here's your easy out, especially after the way they got humbled at home by Oreg....(mumbling) What's that? (mumbling) Oh, they won that game? (mumbling) As a 10 point underdog, you say? (mumbling) Well then....

Nebraska? They actually have decent QB play now. And their only two wins in the series for the last 12 years were at Kinnick.

That anyone prior to yesterday was calling our schedule "easy" or even "manageable" proves only that they know absolutely nothing of Iowa Football's M.O. over the last three decades.

Are all five winnable? Sure.
Are all five loseable? Absolutely.
