Overall talent and depth, give the edge to 2010. Best player is on 2012. Who wins a best of 7 in your book?

2012, easily.

2010 was fun, but honestly, overrated. They had awe inspiring physical ability but they were often sloppy and undisciplined, didn't have much perimeter shooting, and benefitted from a kind of fluke easy schedule (the 2 big non-conference wins, UConn, and UNC, came against teams that missed the NCAA tournament that year). They also won a ton of very, very close games. 2012 just didn't play many close games, and got no major breaks in their tournament run but closed the deal anyway (despite how tight Cal's butt got in the 2nd half of the title game).

2010 was more explosive and better rebounders. 2012 was better defensively and shooting the 3. 2010 may win the game because Cal would be too stubborn to zone the 2010 team.

Im assuming OP seen the same interview I just seen where John Wall was saying his team wins without a doubt.

I get they had the sexier players individually but it's a team sport and there's a reason 2012 won the title and never really got threatened in the tournament.

He claimed Boogie would shut down Amthony Davis but im not sure hes able to comprehend how dominant Davis was. He kept talking about hiw Cousins shut down the Mississippi state guy that lead the nation in blocked shots.

He really tried to compare Davis and I think the guys name was vernardo or something like that. Hearing cousins and Wall speak sometimes makes me question their intelligence.

Said Doron wasnt a dog and Eric Bledsoe was. Doron lamb was one of the smoothest sgs kentucky has ever had. He was a beast of a college player. Pure stroking it.

When hardware and championships are on the line 2012 is winning it all.

2010 couldn't advance past the E8 and turned into chuckers who couldn't beat West Virginia when it mattered.

12 could still win without Davis scoring

2012 wins because cal vs himself 2012 was a more self directed team. Imo that’s why they won that title. The less coaching cal does the better the team

And he didn’t have to worry about stupid lineups because he pretty much couldn’t. Lol
